Information Technology Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Information Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the technical infrastructure at NASSP including our instance of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. This role involves a combination of administrative and technical responsibilities including hands-on collaboration with our MSP to ensure the efficient operation, security, and optimization of the M365 environment and SharePoint platforms. The incumbent must have broad experience in all aspects of Microsoft 365 products and their usage across organizations. This includes hands-on work such as training and knowledge sharing. This role will collaborate closely with the Managing Director and the Technology team to ensure the security, stability, and performance of the entire technical environment at NASSP. The Information Technology Manager must have broad experience in all aspects of Microsoft 365 products and their usage across the organization. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Microsoft 365 Administration:

  • In collaboration with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) Manage and oversee the overall Microsoft 365 environment and security alerts, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and other associated services.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize M365 applications, licenses, and user access, ensuring compliance and security best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain policies, configurations, and procedures related to M365 services.

SharePoint Management:

  • Lead the administration, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint services and infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement SharePoint governance policies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and best practices.
  • Support and guide teams in utilizing SharePoint for efficient document management, collaboration, and workflow automation.

Infrastructure Oversight:

  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance, reliability, and security of M365 and SharePoint infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and security measures to safeguard M365 and SharePoint data.

Collaboration & Training:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions that leverage M365 and SharePoint capabilities effectively.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide support to users to enhance their proficiency in using M365 and SharePoint tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of demonstrated proven hands-on experience in advanced principles of technical infrastructure including the integration of software technologies.
  • 2+ years of experience as an effective manager with excellent team leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. • Extensive experience with Office 365 implementations including Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  • Experience in developing technology policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developing actionable disaster recovery plans.
  • Experience in managing vendors and suppliers.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships across the entire organization.
  • Ability to oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) at all levels within the organization.
  • SQL, Windows OS, M365 suite of products, SharePoint administration, Windows Administration, for desktops and servers, MS Exchange

Preferred Certifications:

  • MCSE – Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
  • MCSA – Microsoft Certified System Administrator
  • CSA – Certified Systems Administrator
  • PMP – Project Management Professional

Salary Range: 95,000 – 115,000 USD Annually

The referenced salary range is based on the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
