NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year Program

About the Program
The NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year program recognizes outstanding middle level and high school assistant principals who have demonstrated success in leadership, curriculum and personalization.

Selection Process
Each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Department of Defense Education Activity, and the U.S. Department of State Office of Overseas Schools may select one assistant principal to represent their state. From these state winners, three finalists are named as contenders for the National Assistant Principal of the Year award. The NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year is selected from among the finalists.

Recognition

State winners, finalists, and the 2016 NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year will be announced during the Ignite ’16 Conference in Orlando, FL, on February 25–27, 2016.
