Congratulations to the 10 national honorees and the 102 state honorees selected in the 2011 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards!!
The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards is the United States' largest youth recognition program based exclusively on volunteer community service.
Created in 1995 by Prudential Financial in partnership with NASSP, the program has honored more than 90,000 young volunteers at the local, state, and national level.
Each program year officially begins in September when information and application instructions are mailed to all middle level and high schools in the country and to the following select local organizations: Girl Scout councils, county 4-H organizations, American Red Cross chapters, YMCAs, and affiliates of HandsOn Network.
