NASSP hosts free webinars throughout the year on a broad range of topics to offer school leaders the opportunity to learn from their peers and help strengthen their schools. These webinars are open to educators everywhere.
This year, NASSP is featuring a series of webinars focused on the Breaking Ranks Framework for school improvement. The series highlights the core elements of the Breaking Ranks Framework, and provides valuable insights from practitioners in the field who have successfully implemented it in their schools.
How do I participate?
Anyone can take part in NASSP's free webinars. After you register online, you will receive an e-mail with a link to the webinar. Click the link a few minutes before the webinar begins and you will automatically join the event.

If you are not able to attend a live webinar, you can watch archived versions of the live events at no cost. Archived webinars are typically available a few days after the live event.

The School That Launched 1,000 iPads: A Look at Moving to a 1:1 Environment, presented by NASSP Digital Principal Award winner Patrick Larkin, principal of Burlington (MA) High School. Join Patrick for the third in NASSP's Digital Principal webinar series. Applying NASSP’s Breaking Ranks Framework, this webinar will detail Burlington High School’s journey in creating a 1:1 environment where each student has a web-enabled device. The session will cover building a case for 1:1 and gaining stakeholder support from school board members, staff, students, parents, and community members. The session will also look at the up-front and embedded professional development that is necessary to ensure the success of this type of large-scale device deployment. Other areas of focus will include digital citizenship, acceptable use policies, filtering, and classroom management.

Fostering the Success of ELL Students Through Effective Professional Development, presented by Diane Staehr Fenner of DSF Consulting, LLC. Cosponsored by NASSP and TESOL International Association, this webinar is designed to help school leaders learn how to create an environment that fosters the success of their English language learners (ELLs). Diane will provide principals with an overview of the TESOL P-12 Professional Teaching Standards and how they can be used to design quality professional development for all teachers who work with ELL students. Best practices, strategies, practical examples, and links to resources will be provided.
