The COVID-19 crisis caused schools to abruptly close without preparation for ongoing instruction or knowing when schools would reopen. As a result of schools closing across the country students and staff have been exposed to trauma. We find ourselves living in a time of anxiety and uncertainly. How do we address the mental health and wellness of students and staff prior to and after returning to brick and mortar school buildings?
