Recognizing outstanding service

Created in 1994, the Outstanding Service Project awards recognize National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society chapters that have made significant service contribution at the local level.

With more than 25,000 active chapters, it is estimated that millions of hours of service are performed each year by Honor Society members.

Each project submitted for this award is judged based on their goals and organization, service impact, involvement, and the quality and clarity of their written summary.
