In the Work2BeWell Mental Wellness Unit, students will create their own emotional first-aid kit. Their kit will include sounds, sights, touches, smells, trusted contacts (humans), and journaling (take action). The first-aid kit will prepare teens in helping to reduce stress in tense situations and proactively care for their mental health.
At the NASSP Education Summit, school leaders will unite to share their experiences and insights, generate solutions to the most pressing issues affecting schools, and create actionable strategies to transform education for their schools and students. In the Work2BeWell Heart-to-Heart Critical Conversations module, students are provided with tools to be successful during difficult conversations. This module prepares students for heart-to-heart conversations with parents, peers, etc. prior to the conversations, and helps them navigate conversations when they don’t go so well.
NASSP provides our members with the professional research-based and peer-tested resources, and practical tools and materials they need to serve as visionary school leaders.
