Work 2 Be Well

Work2BeWell is a digital wellness program focused on positively impacting the emotional well-being of teens and promoting mental health.

Emotional First Aid Kit
6/21/22 at 8:30 p.m. (ET)

In the Work2BeWell Mental Wellness Unit, students will create their own emotional first-aid kit. Their kit will include sounds, sights, touches, smells, trusted contacts (humans), and journaling (take action). The first-aid kit will prepare teens in helping to reduce stress in tense situations and proactively care for their mental health.

Critical Conversations
8/30/22 at 8:30 pm (ET)

In the Work2BeWell Heart-to-Heart Critical Conversations module, students are provided with tools to be successful during difficult conversations. This module prepares students for heart-to-heart conversations with parents, peers, etc. prior to the conversations, and helps them navigate conversations when they don’t go so well.

ECPR (Emotionally Connect, Partner, and Respond)
9/27/22 at 8:30 p.m. (ET)

Most people know how to respond to a physical health crisis, but few, regardless of age, know how to respond to an emotional health crisis. The ECPR lesson covers important aspects of youth mental illness, including how common it is, facts on suicide, warning signs, how to detect a crisis in their friends, how to connect a friend with people and resources that can help, and much more. The lesson will prepare youth to help and advocate for their peers without claiming responsibility for maintaining another person’s safety.
