As part of National Principals Month, American Federation of School Administrators (AFSA), National Association of Elementary School Principals, and National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) will be holding their first-ever joint Capitol Hill Day.

The day will start with training on Capitol Hill at 8:00 a.m. (ET) and will be followed by meetings with legislators throughout the day from 10:00 a.m.—4:00 p.m. (ET). NASSP will also reimburse NASSP members for their travel to and from Capitol Hill (within a 90-mile radius of the Capitol). During Capitol Hill Day, you will have the opportunity to attend a live briefing from 11:30 a.m.—1:00 p.m. (ET) that focuses on issues facing the principalship and how the federal government can act to best serve our nation’s school leaders and students.
