The National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), through its National Student Council (NatStuCo) program, is thrilled to host the annual National Student Council Conference, which brings together student council members and advisers from across the country to sharpen their leadership skills and build their peer networks. This year’s theme, “Student Leaders Making History,” will inspire students to create meaningful change in their schools and communities.

The 2021 National Student Council Conference is a virtual event hosted by Woodbridge High School from Woodbridge, VA, this June 22–25, 2021. Students, advisers, and administrators will work together to increase the impact of their student councils. 

Joining this year’s conference are keynote speakers who have all made history in their own ways. Our 2021 keynote speakers are Gabby Douglas, U.S. Women’s gymnast and the first African American woman to win an Olympic gold medal in the individual all-around event; Ben Rattray, the founder and CEO of Change.org; Kahlil Greene, Yale’s first Black student body president; and Hamish Brewer, award-winning principal and bestselling author.
