Name and Logo

User agrees not to use the name of the National Association of Secondary School Principals, NASSP, National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, National Elementary Honor Society, National Student Council, or their logos for any promotional or commercial purpose or any other purpose without the prior written consent of NASSP.

Website Security

Interference with Website operation: User agrees to not access or use the Website in any manner that could damage, disable, impair or cause undue burden on the Website and/or its host, servers, network, systems or other users. User agrees to not attempt to interfere in any way with the operation of the Website, that User will not transmit any virus or worm to the Website, that User will not use any spider, robot or any other automated mechanism to access the Website and/or its servers or systems, and that you will not engage in flooding, spamming, mail-bombing, crashing or otherwise sending unsolicited e-mail to other users of the Website.  User further agrees that User will not attempt to access data that is not intended for your use, that User will not attempt to log on to a server or account that User is not authorized to access, and that User will not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any system or network related in any way to the Website without authorization.

NASSP reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to pursue all of its legal remedies, including, but not limited to deletion of User’s postings from the Website and immediate termination of User’s registration with the Website or ability to access the Website and/or any other service provided to User by NASSP, upon any breach by User of these Terms and Conditions or if NASSP is unable to verify or authenticate any information User submits to the Website for registration.  NASSP shall not be liable to User nor any third party for any termination of User’s account or access to the Website.

Waiver of Liability

NASSP does not screen or censor User-generated content made available on the Website. NASSP is NOT LIABLE for any content posted on the website. User assumes all risks associated with dealing with other users with whom User comes in contact through the Website. Should a dispute arise between User and another user, User hereby agrees to release NASSP from all claims, demand, and damages associated with such a dispute.

User agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NASSP, its officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims, actions or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal fees, resulting from your use of the Website or your breach of the Terms of Use, including, without limitation, your submission of content that violates third party rights or applicable law. NASSP shall provide notice to User promptly of any such claim, suit, or proceeding and shall assist User, at User’s expense, in defending any such claim, suit or proceeding.

Foreign Access

If User accesses this Website from outside the United States, User does so at User’s own risk. User agrees to comply with all applicable local rules and laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the United States or the country in which you reside.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Jurisdiction for any claims arising under these Terms and Conditions shall lie exclusively with the state or federal courts within the Commonwealth of Virginia. If any provisions of these Terms and Conditions are found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms of Use, which shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of these Terms of Use shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

E-Commerce and Store Purchase Terms  

These E-Commerce and Store Purchase Terms apply to all purchases made through NASSP-operated online stores, including but not limited to merchandise, regalia, recognition items, publications, and other physical products (“Products”). By submitting an order, the purchaser confirms acceptance of NASSP’s Terms and Conditions, including this section, and represents that they are authorized to place the order on behalf of their school or organization, if applicable. 

  • Placing Orders: All orders placed through the NASSP online store or through a store representative are subject to acceptance by NASSP. NASSP reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at its discretion, including but not limited to orders that appear fraudulent, inaccurate, or outside standard fulfillment parameters. Order confirmation emails acknowledge receipt of an order but do not constitute final acceptance. Acceptance occurs when the order is processed and prepared for fulfillment. 
  • Pricing, Tax and Payment: 
    • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Prices, availability, and product descriptions are subject to change without notice. Applicable sales tax and shipping charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout, where required by law. 
    • Sales tax will be charged on all orders where required by law. Tax exemption is not applied automatically. Schools, districts, and other organizations claiming tax-exempt status must submit valid tax exemption documentation prior to placing an order. Orders placed before tax-exempt status is approved will be processed as taxable, and sales tax will not be refunded retroactively. Approval of tax-exempt status applies only to future orders and may be revoked if documentation expires or is determined to be invalid. NASSP reserves the right to request updated or additional documentation at any time to maintain tax-exempt status on an account. 
    • NASSP accepts payment through credit cards and checks. Purchase orders and other forms of payment are not accepted. Orders must be paid in full prior to shipment. Proforma orders are not considered final until full payment is received. 
  • Custom Orders:  
    • Custom and made-to-order items are produced specifically for the purchaser and cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded once production has begun. 
    • Lead times for custom orders may vary and are estimates only. 
  • Shipping and Delivery: NASSP partners with third-party vendors and fulfillment providers to produce, store, and ship Products. While NASSP works closely with these partners, fulfillment timelines, carrier performance, and shipping logistics are subject to third-party processes. Shipping and delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. NASSP is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, supply chain disruptions, or other factors beyond its reasonable control. Risk of loss transfers to the purchaser once the order is tendered to the carrier. Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has been shipped. 
  • Returns, Exchanges and Refunds: NASSP aims to provide high-quality products. 
    • Only non-custom, non-personalized items in new, unused condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to approval. 
    • Custom, personalized, bulk, regalia, recognition items, and clearance items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund. 
    • If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, purchasers must notify NASSP within 30 days of delivery for resolution. 
    • Refunds, if approved, will be issued to the original payment method. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to NASSP error. 
  • Use of Products: Product availability is not guaranteed. NASSP reserves the right to substitute Products of comparable quality, discontinue items, or update product specifications as needed. All Products are intended for personal, educational, or institutional use and may not be resold or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from NASSP. 
  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, NASSP disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from store purchases, including but not limited to shipping delays, lost packages, or use of Products. NASSP’s total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the total amount paid for the Product, giving rise to the claim. 

All store purchases and related disputes are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia without regard to conflict of law principles.
