NASSP Board of Directors Approves Transgender Position Statement
Over the summer, the NASSP Board of Directors adopted a new position statement in support of the rights of transgender students and in opposition to legislation and policies that discriminate against them. The statement provides recommendations for federal, state, and local policymakers and school leaders on how to better support transgender students in the K-12 education system. 2016 State Principals of the Year Gather in Washington, D.C.
From September 11-14, the 2016 State Principals of the Year are gathering in Washington, D.C., for the annual NASSP Principals Institute.
